Afterlog Community Guidelines (Draft)

⚠️ DRAFT — not for use before legal review. This is an internal development draft and not the final policy. Legal and policy review is required before publication.

Last updated: (to be confirmed after review) · Version: draft v0.1

What We Stand For

Afterlog is a space to honestly document your growth and change over time, and to cheer each other on. It's for sharing a journey across time rather than a single moment. Because it involves potentially sensitive topics like the body, recovery, beauty, and learning, respect and safety matter especially here.

1. Respect Each Other

  • No harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats, or doxxing.
  • Do not mock or demean anyone's appearance, body, or procedure results.
  • Do not shame others through unconstructive comparison.

2. Sensitive Body and Procedure Content

  • By design, before/after body and procedure photos may be shared. Photos that identify other people require that person's consent.
  • No sexually explicit content, gratuitous nudity, or content that inappropriately exposes a minor's body.
  • No content that threatens safety, such as self-harm, extreme body imagery, or promotion of dangerous dieting.

3. Honesty About Medical and Cosmetic Topics

  • Procedure and cosmetic content on Afterlog is a record of personal experience, not medical advice. Results and safety vary by individual.
  • No inducement posts such as clinic promotion, price inducement, appointment referral or brokerage, or guaranteed-outcome claims. Afterlog is not a clinic marketing channel.
  • No content that encourages or solicits procedures on minors.
  • No false or exaggerated efficacy claims or unverified medical advice.

4. Authenticity

  • No impersonation, identity falsification, or unauthorized use of others' content.
  • No spam, repetitive advertising, or automated bulk activity.

5. Unlawful and Harmful Content

  • Promotion of illegal activity, violence, terrorism, and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited and reported/actioned under applicable law.

6. Reporting and Blocking

  • If you see a violation, you can report the user, Journey, Update, or comment.
  • Blocking an unwanted user removes mutual visibility.
  • Reports are reviewed with a target of responding within 24 hours.

7. Enforcement (Graduated Actions)

Depending on severity and repetition, we may take the following actions, all recorded in an internal audit log.

  1. Hide/remove content — make the violating post private or delete it.
  2. Warning — notify the user of the violation.
  3. Temporary suspension — suspend the account for repeated or serious violations (sessions are blocked immediately on suspension).
  4. Permanent ban — for severe violations (illegal content, threats to child safety) or repeat offenses, permanently ban the account and report to authorities where required.

If you wish to dispute a suspension or removal, you may do so through an appeals channel to be confirmed before the effective date.

8. Contact

Contact details for these Guidelines will be confirmed and stated before the effective date.
